Camp & Retreats

Camp at 1,800 Feet

Cold air after dark. The valley lights spread out below you. Coyotes somewhere in the hills, audible but not visible. The Milky Way overhead with nothing competing for it.

This is what camping at Zephyr Mountain actually is. Not a campground in the conventional sense — a working farm on a ridge above the Temecula Valley where you sleep outside in real air, build a fire, and wake up with the grove.

The experience

Tent camping on the property at elevation. Propane fire pit. Valley views. Farm sounds in the morning — the chickens, the goats, whatever the pigs have going on. Shane and Nicole live here. This is their home. You are a guest on the land.

What to bring: your own tent and sleeping gear, layers for the temperature drop after dark, food for the fire. The elevation is real and the nights are cold even in summer.
