Sanctuary Tours

Sanctuary Tours

The pigs have opinions. The goats have an agenda. The ducks are indifferent to your schedule but will make themselves known when they feel like it.

A sanctuary tour is a guided visit to Zephyr Mountain Farm Animal Sanctuary — a 501(c)3 nonprofit that shares this land with the farm. Nicole lives on the property and runs the sanctuary. She will introduce you to the residents properly.

What to expect

You observe animals living their lives. The sanctuary operates on an observer-based protocol — guests do not handle, feed, or interact with animals unless Nicole explicitly invites it for specific animals in specific moments. Some animals will approach you. Some will not. That is their choice, and it is the point.

Species on the property: pigs, goats, sheep, chickens, poultry, rabbits, ducks, waterfowl, dogs, cats.

Each one has a name and a history. Nicole knows both.

Booking

Tours are ticketed. Date-specific. Small groups only.

Zephyr Mountain Farm Animal Sanctuary Inc.

The sanctuary is a separate 501(c)3 nonprofit — distinct from the farm commerce operation. Sanctuary tours are a farm product. Donations to support the animals go directly to the nonprofit and do not flow through this store. To make a donation, visit zephyrmountainfarmsanctuary.org.
