Fuerte Avocados

The original California avocado, here long before Hass took over. Thin, smooth green skin, a long pear shape, and buttery flesh with a light, nutty flavor.

Fuerte stays green when it's ripe, so go by feel: it's ready when it gives slightly to gentle pressure. Grown on our hillside in Wildomar with no synthetic sprays or fertilizers, and picked the day it leaves the grove.

Pick up from the CSA box at the farm.
